Due to the most recent government announcement regarding the Coronavirus/Covid19 situation unfortunately we’ve been forced to cancel our “Concorde the Legend” event tomorrow. All ticket purchasers will be refunded. Our aim is to try to reschedule this talk for later in the year.
The legendary supersonic airliner Concorde is an aviation icon, instantly known and recognised around the globe, a marvel of engineering and at one time a frequent sight over the skies of Wiltshire.
And what better way to rediscover the grace and glamour of perhaps the most beautiful aircraft in history than this nostalgic presentation from celebrated Air Traffic controller Phil Holt?
At this talk we will learn… Where did the name Concorde come from? Why was Concorde retired? How much did Concorde cost? Will one ever fly again… these are just some of the questions Phil will answer.
The ingenuity and expertise from designers to the crews who flew her is rekindled and Phil will also recall the celebrities and the humour as he involves you in the Concorde experience!
