Drive It Day
Crofton Beam Engines will be making Drive-It-Day drivers and their cars welcome to our site. Our main car park will be dedicated to cars who are taking part in Drive-It-Day.
Also on this special Drive-It-Day you will have the opportunity to see the engines in operation from 10:30. The boilers will be fired up, and the engines will be in motion, just as they would have been over two centuries ago.
Some of our volunteers will be displaying their classic cars on site, including a fabulous Stanley Steam Car. If you are taking part in Drive-It-Day, Crofton will make a great place to stop.
Site open from 10:00. Steaming 10:30 to 15:00. Last entry to Engine House 14:00
Light refreshments available from 10:00 until 16:30 at ‘The Smithy’Please see our website for further details
