Step back in time to the Sights & Sounds of Steam on Saturday 28 May & Sunday 29 May 2022 – 10am – 4.30pm
Update: online booking for Saturday 28 May now unavailable. There may be tickets available on the gate, but you may have to wait to tour the station itself, particularly on Saturday morning, which is getting pretty full!
Advance purchase of timed tickets is recommended for steaming days. A pre-paid timed ticket will guarantee entry at a time to suit you. Online booking for Sunday 29 May 2022 is still open.
On steaming days there is a charge for entry to the grounds. The admission charge includes entry to the pumping station for a self-led tour. Adult tickets £10.75 (£12 with Gift Aid). Accompanied children under 16 free.

- Site: 10:00 to 16:30
- Station: 10:30 to 16:30 (last entry at 15:30)
The café is closed but visitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy overlooking the canal and railway. The picnic area is not under cover. No refreshments are available to purchase on site. Please note that the only access to the site is via the main gate opposite the car park. No access from the lower canal entrance at lock 60.
Our online booking system is provided by Art Fund, a free online ticket booking service for UK museums and galleries. Discounted tickets are available to National Art Pass holders on steaming days. Discounted entry is also available for Members of the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust.
