Lazy Sunday Afternoon

A non steaming day at Crofton Beam Engines offers a unique and equally enriching experience, and today is something a little bit different. Live music comes to Crofton with:-

Mr Love and Justice:- Swindon-based folk/pop collective led by singer-songwriter Steve Cox, playing their own original English take on the late 60s west coast crossover sound.

Mr Love and Justice
George Wilding

George Wilding:- Hugely talented singer-songwriter originally from Avebury, now Bristol-based playing Kinks-esque psychedelic folk

Half Of One:- Previous visitors to Crofton Beam Engines, Fiddle and Guitar acoustic folk duo Geoff Roberts and Neil Mercer former members of Swindon’s SGO folk band.

Half of One
Bellows Bunch

We will also have one of our very own volunteer’s bands, the Bellows Bunch playing traditional folk music.

This very special event at Crofton celebrates local musicians and offers the chance to hear an eclectic mix of music while enjoying a visit to Crofton Beam Engines.

The main venue is one of our Georgian boiler houses, which has great acoustics and is fully accessible.

The tranquillity of the setting, combined with the historical significance and intricate mechanics of the beam engines, provides a captivating journey through time.
