The Journey of Wheat – From Field to Plate

Harvest at Crofton 2021 Photo: Peter Turvey

Crofton Pumping Station is surrounded by fields of barley, beans, oats, and wheat.
Wheat starts as a seed and grows into a product we can eat and use in many ways every day. This scrapbook idea was inspired by the Heritage Open Day theme #EdibleEngland in 2021.
