Drive It Day April 26th

26 Apr 2026
10:00 - 16:30

DRIVE IT DAY

MG Cars

We will be celebrating Drive-It-Day once again with a gala steaming and a display of volunteers cars. The route to Crofton is through beautiful country lanes and our part of Wiltshire is well supplied with good pubs for lunch.

Car Parking and entry to the Pumping Station grounds is free and entry to the Pumping Station itself is half price for drivers of classic vehicles.  We will be supporting the NSPCC (Drive It Day’s chosen charity for 2026) on the day and should have an NSPCC stand on site during the day. By buying a Drive It Day plaque from https://www.driveitday.co.uk/events/drive-you will help the NSPCC.

We have two large car parks so can cater for multiple car clubs as well as individual cars and motorcycles.

While you are in this part of Wiltshire you can also visit Wilton Windmill, a short drive from Crofton or why not explore further to Stonehenge or Avebury. The Atwell Wilson Motor Museum at Calne and Marlborough with its famous high street are all within easy, pleasant driving distances.

Site open from 10:00. Steaming 10:30 to 15:00. Last entry to Engine House 14:00

On steaming days only the “Smithy Tea Room” offers visitors light refreshments and delightful spot to relax during your exploration.
