Crofton Welcomes the Wiltshire Museums Group

Crofton was delighted to welcome colleagues from across the country to the latest meeting of the Wiltshire Museums Group yesterday, 10 October. We heard a range of fascinating presentations on the theme of audience development and discussed a range of topics around the latest thinking on this essential subject in museum practice.

Crofton is an enthusiastic member of the county museums group and was pleased to host so many colleagues at our historic Grade I listed site. After the meeting everyone enjoyed one of our popular guided tours and posted for a photo under our iconic 82′ tall chimney!

Many thanks to our Museums Development Officer extraordinaire Heather Perry for organising the event and supporting all museums in the county in so many valuable ways.
